Barrihdjowkkeng is a yirridjdja moiety place belonging to the Darnkolo clan. There are paintings about Barrihdjowkkeng, with the water represented by cross-hatching. A Rainbow Serpent pierced the ground there. The yawkyawk (young female spirit beings) live in the bushland there. They wander around that area and in the afternoon they go down to drink and then return. They are eternal. In the savanna bushland there is a sacred site or Djang with rocks standing up everywhere, representing the breasts of those young female spirit beings. They are similar to the site at Buluwana. Their spirit has risen up and has penetrated the ground. Owen Yalandja is the senior traditional owner for Barrihdjowkkeng; there are many traditional owners in the Darnkolo clan.
